Mercedes AMG GT Embraceable Companion
Mercedes-Benz is known for listening to its customers, and the new AMG GT Coupe is a prime example of that attentive approach. In response to feedback, the latest iteration of this performance powerhouse is not just about raw power; it’s also designed to be a more comfortable and practical daily driver.
To achieve this, Mercedes started from scratch, ditching the old chassis entirely. The result is a car that’s 180mm longer and 40mm wider than its predecessor, providing more interior space. Inside, you’ll find 2+2 seating, offering enough room for a small family or some extra luggage. Speaking of which, the 250-litre boot can even accommodate a bicycle, making this AMG GT Coupe surprisingly versatile.
The wheelbase has been extended by 70mm, enhancing interior space and comfort. While it might not be as cozy as your favorite loungewear, it’s certainly more comfortable than lycra.

At launch, Mercedes offers two versions of the Coupe, both powered by the hand-assembled 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine from AMG’s headquarters in Affalterbach. The numbers remain impressive: the GT 63 delivers an unchanged 577bhp, with a generous 590lb ft of torque available between 2,500-4,500rpm. This translates to a blistering 0-62mph sprint in just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 196mph.
